Oooh, I have done a terrible job of staying on the 31 (blogging) days of May wagon (I just don't think I can commit to a schedule yet, I'm still recovering from graduate school...a year later...). It was those DIYs! I just don't do them. And I've been terrible about the outfit posts lately. I'm struggling to find time to take the pictures in the morning when I wake up. We're going to have to rethink the scheduling.
However, I have decided to bring to you, for the first time ever on MCaM: Friday Fancies. Friday Fancies is a really awesome blogger link-up hosted by {av} of {long distance loving}. She sends out a prompt every week, and we create outfits based on it. Price is no option (oh, if only life were actually like that)!
This week, we had to pick a color and center our outfit around that. I'm currently crushing hard on orange at the moment, so when I saw this awesome shift dress, I knew that had to be the central item. I lovelovelove orange, and I have several pieces, but it's very hard to pair them with things (or maybe that's just me). Here, I tried to keep it to neutrals, but because it's me and I like wearing 6 colors at once, I threw in some turquoise jewelry to complement the brown and white of the blazer and accessories. I might have to recreate this outfit. Somehow.
