Beth and I traveled to the Freer and Sackler Galleries to visit their new exhibit on the archaeology of Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, pictures weren't allowed inside the exhibit, but if you're in the area, check it out! After that and having our names written in Arabic calligraphy (so cool!), we walked to the Hirshhorn to see the Ai Weiwei exhibit. It was really awesome, though I can't begin to say I understand what he was trying to say with a lot of the pieces.
